The Expression of a Terroir

Centuries of passionate viticulture around a single grape variety, Muscat à petits grains, have given birth to the first French AOC: Muscats de Frontignan, these 100% natural wines, which are a perfect illustration of the complexity of an exceptional terroir. This grape variety has moreover had its own festival for more than 30 years.

Muscat, celebrated all over the world by its enthusiasts, is a grape variety from the Languedoc. The natural sweet wine, the dry Muscat or the sparkling Muscat, a panel for all tastes. Find below the list of estates that organize tastings.

The natural sweet wine : Muscat de cuvée traditionnelle is a mellow wine that lets the aromas of figs and candied citrus fruits overlap. It goes well with foie gras and blue-veined cheeses.

Muscat sec : Dry white wine made with grapes from young vines and harvested earlier than the traditional Muscat. It is served very fresh with all seafood and white meats.

The liqueur wine : Very sweet and suave, very long in the mouth, it has aromas of candied orange, fig and honey and goes perfectly with chocolate-based desserts, fruit salads,...
